AIG Student Services

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!!  I currently serve as the Secondary Gifted Specialist for Southwest Middle School, Hunters Creek Middle School, Southwest High School, and White Oak High School.  In this role, I maintain consistent and proactive communication with all four institutions to ensure alignment and support for gifted education services.

My weekly schedule is structured as follows:

• Southwest Middle School: Monday and Friday
• Hunters Creek Middle School: Tuesday and Thursday
• Southwest High School and White Oak High School: AM at SWHS and PM at WOHS

At the middle schools, I will serve as an instructional support teacher providing advanced learning opportunities tailored to gifted students. At the high schools, I will function as an Advanced Academic Counselor, assisting students with course selection, addressing social-emotional needs, and guiding them through post-secondary planning, including college and career exploration.

Gifted students represent a diverse population with unique academic and social-emotional needs. To meet these needs, Onslow County Schools is committed to offering differentiated instruction and a range of service options designed to provide a rigorous, comprehensive, and challenging educational experience. Our goal is to align each student's individual strengths and needs with the most appropriate program and support services available.
